‘Sing to the LORD a new song; Sing to the LORD, all the earth.’ (Psalm 96:1)

OUR MINISTRY PURPOSE

Here at Tribal Praise Ministries we have but one purpose in mind: to teach the unchanging principles as taught by the Word of God regarding lifestyle worship, while ministering in the ever-changing expressions of worship through music. We seek to empower and to inspire everyone who they are in the heart of the Father, how to think and believe with the mind of Christ, and how to speak words of life with the voice of the Holy Spirit – teaching them lifestyle expressions of worship in all that they think, say, & do.. We are the instruments of praise in the hands of God the Father who created us for worship!

We center a big portion of our teaching around the life of King David whom God took from the pasture field to the palace, and was deemed, ‘a man after God’s own heart’ (1 Samuel 13:14, Acts 13:22). David wrote 73 of the 150 Psalms; a book filled with beautifully inspired and intense prayers written to music. The Psalms illuminate the greatness of our God, affirm His faithfulness to us in times of trouble, and remind us of the struggles and battles we sometimes face in life. Yet through it all the book of Psalms express and inspire many examples of lifestyle worship!

Our ministry of music is both traditional and non-traditional, contemporary and non-contemporary in it’s expression; intercessory, prophetic and apostolic in its nature. On the one hand, they are the well known praise and worship songs as we know them, familiar and easy to follow. On the other hand, they are free-flowing rhythms that come from the creative Holy Spirit that lives within us, and at times in the midst of ‘birthing’ these new songs, the flow is vulnerable as we listen intently to hear what God would say in those tender moments. God’s creative anointing lives in us and at times songs are spontaneously birthed in order to release fresh revelation and prophetic expression from God’s perspective towards situations and circumstances that we might be facing.

We are instructed to sing ‘new songs’ that aligns itself with the Father’s heart and Heaven’s song. In Revelation 5:9 it says, ‘And they sang a new song saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open it’s seals…’ Because Christ lives in us and He has made us to be ‘kings and priests unto Himself in order that we might reign on the earth’ (Rev. 5:10), we have the privilege of declaring the purposes of God’s heart as kings and priests in the earth as it is in Heaven! As a matter of fact, the word ‘scroll’ is the Greek word ‘biblion’ where we get our word ‘Bible’ and it literally means, ‘The revelation of God’s counsel and purposes towards the earth and its people’…wow, this is amazing! God wants us to sing the revelations of His counsel and purpose towards our situations and circumstances in the earth and in just one encounter, God’s presence can totally set you free!

Let us continue to grow in our worship experience as a quest to more intimately know the heart of the Father, the mind of Jesus Christ, and the voice of the Holy Spirit. It is our hope that you will be enriched and drawn closer to Him and His Kingdom which is inside of you. We encourage you and bless you in your daily walk with God as you live to become the expression of worship in all that you think, say and do!
